I am getting connection status is poor on my  galaxy 9 what to do?

First thing to try @1954 is a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On. 

 

Is this happening everywhere you go ?

 

Check your networks status via their online mast checker page. 

 

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone  ?

 

And then try another sim card in your phone. 

 

This will help to see if it's the phone or sim card or Network Masts at issue. 

 

Your network will be able to replace your sim card via a sim swap if it turns out to be the sim card at issue. 

 

If it turns out to be your phone then a Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic on the phone.
