Hi all, Just asking people to possibly put some feedback for the new One UI..
IF you have it on your device...
Edit/Update your post when you possibly find something.
Loving is so far, a little apple looking but hopefully that might change a little.. feels good, easier to navigate for sure & greatly improved all round..
Camera is awesome, to me if looks an feels much better than Oreo.
Here are some bugs I've seen so far though..
This is what beta is for though I suppose😎
The list.....
1. When scrolling down through emojis they seem to flicker an lose there grid slot, overlapping each other as the scroll animation starts.. fast scroll shows this also slow scroll just not as much.....
Able to reproduce this Glitch
2. When camera going over x2 focus you notice the different depth on the image, quite off putting.....
Able to reproduce this Glitch.. maybe normal??
3. When my S9+ is locked & you wake ul device to swipe down & say enable aeroplane mode, when you have to unlock the device the top of the screen to confirm it.. upon where the notification/date/battery/clock icons stays white background for several seconds after unlock and enabling/disabling something.....
Able to reproduce this Glitch
4. When closing fb messenger active chat heads, I get a weird screen flicker partially on my screen, on homepage for less than 0.5s
Multiple coloured lines from left to right.. different pixels each time......
Able to reproduce this Glitch, maybe messenger issue but was not present in oreo 8.0
5. Only happened once, but went into notifications through settings & then when I clicked show all from past 7 days, when I first scrolled through the list of apps it was a double image that I was scrolling/pulling down, above list of apps I seen original. it pulled that image down an didn't scroll properly......
Not able to reproduce the glitch
Will update as I progress..

I HATE the UI changes... why is the clock on the left now? The "change apps" button layout is weird, all the buttons are different, i dont want any of these features and now my battery is draining faster... stop forcing us to update our phones!!!!

Just installed on my ugly s9 plus, upgrading to lg stylo soon. I hate pie. Took me 6 months to learn Oreo camera now it is completley changed and I have to learn camera mode again, also it is slower in snapping a picture. Some system and non sytem apps no longer work. Samsung plus apps opens and freezes, some will open then crash and close. I hate the new icon look. Trying to uninstall it now.

You forgot to mention that there is no way of disabling Bixby. Makes me wanna go apple instead.

You can't fully disable Bixby but you can turn off the lefthleft screen and also set the button so it has to be held in or pressed twice to turn it on. This stops that accidental activation when taking out of a pocket.
There are apps that allow you to reconfigure the button but I've never used them before.

Well the issue is that you cannot disable the button anymore since the new update. And i dont like third party hardware aps for privacy reasons. So i like the option to disable it back.

I like the new clean look with the One UI update. Just completed the update. One thing that's bugging me is the button bar at the bottom of the screen. I preferred the old way when they were off screen out the way and I could swipe up when I needed the buttons and I do not like the "gesture" option for the buttons either. If there's one thing I could change, that would be it.

I don't mean any disrespect but I hate it. I feel like I went from an Android to an iPhone. It took away functionality that I liked, for example, I dont want to close all windows just to close one. If there is a way to do it, it is no longer easy like before, just hit exit on one window. I like to have organization and efficiency, that was taken away. This is going to sound mean but, before it was clean and intelligent looking, now it looks like it is designed so my toddler can easily find the buttons. I wish we had the option to switch back to the old style. I'm worried about have a system out of date and not secure. I do want to say, and I mean this in a completely positive way, if you really like this update you should consider switching to iPhone. This style seems is totally iPhone in my opinion.

When you're in recents screen where you can view apps you've been using, to close one individual app just use a flicking motion to close. You do not have to close all apps.
I've been using it for a few hours now since I done the software update and I'm getting used to it but I really wish I could reverse it.

Sure there are a few bugs here and there, including:
SmartThings not showing up when I plug in devices
Dobly Atmos does not turn on by default after reboot
Slow animation on the lock screen
YouTube PIP stops when switching
Once these bugs are fixed, one UI / Android pie would be the best version for the Samsung smartphones. I would never go back to Android Oreo / Experience UI ever again. It has fixed a lot of problems in my life.
