App icon count

I'm getting no count on my apps. Missed calls, text messages, what's app messages etc. Unless it shows on the top notification screen I have no idea I've received a text as no count comes up on the icons. Anybody any idea how to fix this?

Hi @Siobhi

In order to activate this feature please go to Settings > Notifications > App Icon Badges > On > App Notifications > All Apps. Please be aware that, as part of the Oreo update, notification badges will be removed from apps as soon as you open the app or clear any items from your drop down notification bar.

Hi Andrew! My app notifications are turned on for the apps I want notifications from but it's not working. Do I need to turn on all notifications- is that the fix you're suggesting?

@shortylavendar: I would recommend trying the 'All Apps' option, just to see if this works out for you. I'n not sure why it's not working for the individual apps you've selected though? Are they native, pre-installed apps or third party downloads from Google Play or Galaxy Apps?
