Smart lock not working

I have set smart lock up several times for trusted location and devices on my s10+. It works for a while then stops. I have followed a few guides such as clearing caches, adding several trusted locations nearby etc but nothing works. My location is on and on high etc.

 

Please sort this as it worked fine on my S7.

Is your Google play services app battery optimised..  if it is it way not work very well.

Turn off smart lock and use the Bixby routines.  My smart lock completely disappeared off my s10 after an update.

I have exactly the same problem on my S10+ it works for a while then stops. It was working this morning at home I've been out all day back home and it's stopped working again. Have tried deleting rebooting phone and re-entering address. Location is on.

My Smart Lock settings is now a blank page after software update yesterday (Wednesday).

Try clearing the cache partition, then reboot phone.

Try turning Location services OFF,
Open Google Maps and select your location and turn it on again when it asks you. Seems to fix Smart Lock on my S10+

How? Everyone tells us do this or that but no explanation on HOW TO do it.

@gofast Sorry can't delete this response. So I edited it. If you go to page 2 I posted a link that will walk you through various fixes for the smart lock. It my first time reading/replying on this community board
