S10+ Doesn't connect with Garmin Fenix 3HR

I have been trying to connect my Garmin Fenix to my S10+ but cannot manage. If I try and use the Garmin Connect app, it doesn't recognise the device and the pairing times out. When I try and connect the watch using the bluetooth pairing option on the phone the passcode appears on the watch but the pairing never completes and again times out. 


I have deleted and reinstalled the Connect app, have factory reset the watch etc but still cannot manage.


Any suggestions gratefully appreciated!

@NiallBell: As a troubleshooting step please can you, on the S10+, go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if this helps. Please be aware that this will remove any registered devices, therefore you will be required to set your WiFi connection back up and re-add any registered Bluetooth devices. Let me know how you get on.
