Anyone else having problem with fingerprint since update

My finger print worked fine until the "fix" now it doesn't work at all.  Any suggestions?

Yup. I had the same. The fix is to do a soft reset.

Hold the power button and volume down together and wait until the Samsung screen appears, then release and wait.

Worked for me after exactly the same problem when I could not even add new fingerprints.

The good news is the finger ID now seems to work much better. Before it would not work in supermarkets with lots of light but now works just fine.

removed worthless plastic protector and instantly was flawless!
