Please allow me to have the phone back that I paid for.  Just return it quietly and I wont go to the authorities.  If you need a ransom for the return, please let me know. I will do what I can without involving the authorities to get back my property in the same condition that I purchased.

Many I submit do not particularly like what Samsung One Ui  / Pie brings.

Samsungs official stance is that the firmware cannot be rolled back which is certainly true via any setting within the phone.

However if you use Google Search and check out xdadevelopers site you'll find lots of advice.

A person doing this does so at their own sole responsibility knowing that a phone can be put Into an unusable state and possible manufacturing warranty being voided.

However there are other options such as...

Goodlock App that changes various parts of the Ui.

Samsung Themes.

Icon Packs also from the Samsung Theme Store.

There are certain elements that have been removed which I'm also not too overly thrilled about.

I've sent this via feedback via the Samsung Members App  / Samsung + app.

This is not a solution for the larceny perpetrated against me by the Samsung Corporation

There are other options @Maxozone in regards to firmware choices.

Google Search is your friend.  :winking-face:

Not sure what you think Samsung have stolen !

All they've done is apply Android Pie along with their own flavour called Samsung One Ui.

Other manufacturers phones exist out there too.

I wish you well with your choices.
