I got Note 10+ 5G from Vodafone UK and unlocked from Vodafone. After that installed BTU/XEU firmware from sammobile. But surprisingly my new CSC is XEF which is unbranded CSC for France, due to this I am getting promotions in Samsung Pay in French while I had setup HSBC UK card with samsung pay.

Any idea why I am not getting XEU/BTU CSC while using Vodafone UK sim card.

Below what I am getting in service provider,

Service provider SW ver.
SAOMC_SM-N976B_OXM_XEF_PP_0004
RFCM800CTGX
XEF/XEF/VOD.

Thanks in advance...

Hi @usmananjum

May I first ask why you've felt the need to install a Custom Rom to replace Vodafones Uk's own ?

Problems can occur when downloading a Custom Rom unfortunately, and one of these can be if a variant / wrong region of firmware has been downloaded which going on what you have written is your issue here.

The Vodafone UK Sim Card does not have any effect on the CsC code etc.

You'll need to look at the Custom Rom you've downloaded and go from there.

Perhaps look on the xdadevelopers website for further help and clarity.

Disclaimer 》 Downloading Custom Rom's from any source / online website can bring stability issues, wrong files and in extreme situations phones that crash.

Neither Vodafone UK or Samsung would be able to assist in my opinion as you've downloaded firmware from an unauthorized source.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

With Vodafone CSC, updates are very slow.

Sim card does play the role. Downloaded VD2 CSC but when inserted UK Vodafone sim, it shown reconfigured the setting as sim has changed. And after that it installed VOD which is Vodafone UK.

OXM is a multi list CSC which covers most Europe and XEF is default firmware and upon sim recognition it should start the relevant CSC same as above VD2 example.

Rest there is no issues with phone except only different thing, Samsung Pay shows french promotions.

@AM4N

Does your phone accept any Network's Sim Card ?

Who supplied your Samsung phone originally ?

If bought from a phone shop brand new and sealed then it will be probably factory unlocked then @AM4N
