Android 10 and Bixby Voice

First Poster

After upgrading my Note 10+ to Android 10 - January 2020 patch, I'm no longer able to limit the permissions needed by Bixby. I don't use Bixby and I can't understand why the user can't disable this feature entirely.

If I try to remove these authorizations, it is shown that are necessary for the device to work.

Actual granted permissions are:

  • Contacts
  • Camera
  • Geolocalyzation
  • Microphone
  • Phone

To me, this is seriuosly unfair toward user's privacy. I hope that in future upgrades, Samsung will remove this costraint.

They won't. And yes, that's not nice.
