Predictive text

Hi. Can someone help. I have a Galaxy A9 2018. I cannot get the predictive text to work. Anyone know how to get it working?

To disable or enable this feature, then go to Settings – System – Language and input.

Then select the keyboard you are using and press the Settings icon again.

You should be able to find a predictive text option on this screen.
