Does anyone know if the Galaxy A6 Plus (2018) will receive Android 9? Thanks.

The date is unknown, but early 2019 is currently the "Expectation" and is still subject to change. The actual date is only known on the day it actually happens.

Hi @Gio1983

With Samsung One Ui still in Beta for the s9 and s9+ I haven't seen anything concrete saying what phones will actually receive the finished version and when it'll happen.

January 2019 has been assumed.

Samsung nor Networks tend to openly discuss timeframes as dates can slip which annoys customers and sometimes on a branded phone the network holds Samsung from sending the update out until it's been tested by them to ensure it does not clash with their version of the firmware on the branded phone and does not also clash with their network services.

Personally I prefer to also let a few weeks elapse from receiving the update to read on others people's experiences with the new update before taking my phone from being stable to a new update.

I hope you see more positive news in the near future.
