Galaxy A40 apps button

Hi

I've just purchased a new Galaxy A40 and there is no apps button on the home screen and the function where you would recover it in home page settings is missing. Any ideas?

So have you tried long pressing on the homescreen and clicking on homescreen settings option that pops up ?
There is an option on my a70 to add an app button on the homescreen

I think nova launcher still offer to include that feature too but that would mean using a 3rd party launcher app

@Keithford: This option should be available in Settings > Display > Home Screen > Apps Button (toggle the switch on). Please be aware that you can also swipe upwards from the bottom of your Home Screen to access your Apps menu. Hope this helps.
