Well the A50 is a decent midrange but definitely not better than an S8+. Apart from 2 more software updates and a better battery, you would have a slower phone, worse main camera, no more water resistance or wireless charging and a plastic body. The last 2 are minor, though, but I would not go to an a50 from an S8+. It would be much better if you went for an A71, coming out very soon if not already in your country as this has a better camera, very big screen and very powerful (nearly 70% more than a50 and a51)
