My wife brought a 500gb T3 last year to store her university work on. as she was using her laptop all the time I was not able to install the drive. After she finished last month I tried to install it. The drive shows up and I can click on the file to install the app. the app runs but does not install the app on the laptop to see the drive or set up the password. If i remove the drive and plug it back in I can see the drive and can copy files to it but only to the removeable drive icon. If I plug my T1 into her laptop it works ok. it will not install the app on my mac either.
wifes mac is mac book air early 2014 running Sierra 1.4ghz cpu 4gb mem 1600 mhz ddr3.
can anyone advice what we can do in this case.
