I have 4 840Evo 250GB drives. All reported good under Magician. I've updated the firmware on two of them - the first one was fine as seemed to be the second but its not worked properly - my PC won't boot with it in and if I attach it after boot with a USB caddy there are multiple errors, the drive MMC crashes etc. Is there any way to recover this - the drive is out of warranty so I will be well-annoyed if using a Samsung tool has cost me a SSD.
