Mono laser printer M382 "Wait Image" error

Hello,

After trying to update my printer it will not work. It just says "Wait Image" on its display when it is switched. None of the buttons work at all, and it is not recognised by my Windows 10 PC.

I've tried unpluging and pluging back in.  Sometimes, after powering off and on, the "Wait Image" is replaced by "Image Error, Reset Printer" after a while. How do I do that?

I'd be grateful for any advice on how to get my printer working.

Can you tell us more about how you tried to update your printer? E.g. were you updating the drivers etc. from the Samsung website?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest. The printer has now been returned to Samsung for repair under guarentee. I was updating the firmware via the Samsung software application on a PC. The printer was attached via a USB cable.

No worries. Guessing that you've spoken to the Printer Support team and that was their ultimate recommendation in this instance. Hope it all gets sorted for you. :robothappy:

Yes, the Printer Support Team were helpful but said it needed to go for repair and they arranged collection.
