sound bar blocks surround sound

both my sound bar and surround sound for samsung Q6F run through Denon avr x2000 but only sound bar works

@geoff99: Please can you confirm the model numbers of both the soundbar and surround sound speaker set? Have you checked to ensure that the speakers are compatible with the soundbar. Are the speakers connected to the soundbar or to the Denon AVR X2000?
