I have a Samsung Sound Bar hooked up to a Element TV through optical cable I don't have a lot of bass in the subwoofer would that be caused by the TV because it's not a Samsung TV?

It's a little difficult for us to say, @Scotty38. Do you have another TV you can connect your soundbar to as a test? Have you tried a different cable?

I got it figured out the problem was the door that covers the optic cable plug on my TV was stuck so I took the TV apart and took the door off and now it works just fine
