Hi there. I really hope some clever technical person can help me. I have just purchased my first soundbar, a Samsung hw-n300. It is working fine, apart from one issue. I am experiencing drop outs of sound for about a second or two whenever the media is interrupted. Some examples include
1. When I start a DVD or Blu Ray
2. When the DVD or Blu Ray goes on to the next chapter
3. When I start a YouTube video
4. When I pause the media I am watching and then restart it
I have tried updating the firmware via USB, but nothing seems to happen when I insert the stick. The soundbar is connected via optical cable, and I have set the audio options to PCM. I am getting frustrated as I don't know if the problem is that my TV is slightly outdated, my soundbar is faulty, or I have some settings wrong. Please can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Laura700. Which TV do you have?

Thanks @Laura700. Is the software on your TV up to date? The latest version is 1028.0.
