CURRENT SETUP

TV: Samsung QLEDQ70 (2019) 65"

Soundbar: Samsung Q70R - HDMI- Arc output connected to HDMI-Arc:HDMI 4 on TV (HDMI Input port not used on soundbar.)

Devices:

4K Firestick - Connected to HDMI 1 Input on TV

Cable Box - Connected to HDMI 2 Input on TV

HDMI Switch 2.0 (5 Inputs x 1 Output) - Output connected to HDMI 3 Input on TV

PS4 Pro - Connected to HDMI Switch Input

Xbox One - Connected to HDMI Switch Input

Nintendo Switch - Connected to HDMI Switch Input

*All HDMI cables used are 2.0

I have tried mutliple different connections, but am still not sure if I have the best possible setup because I have yet to be able to use Dolby Atmos feature.  Also, when using PS4 Pro, the soundbar auto switches to Game Pro mode. I would prefer it stay in Adaptive mode, but I can live with the fact it switches on its own when Game Mode is detected.  Not sure if thats possible. But the problem I have with this, is that when I turn the PS4 off and switch back to the Cable Box or Firestick, the soundbar will remain in Game Pro Mode rather than switching back to Adaptive mode. I continually have to change it back to Adaptive mode manually. I do get sound and video no matter what device I use with this current setup. I'm just not sure I'm using it to its full potential with devices that are capable of producing better quality sound.

Previously, I had ALL my external devices plugged into the 5 inputs on my HDMI switch. Then the output of the HDMI switch was connected to the input on my Samsung Q70R soundbar. I still was using HDMI-Arc output from soundbar to TV. So the only thing connected to my TV was just the HDMI-Arc connection. This resulted in no picture or sound for ANY device, however I did get sound if I used the apps through the TV itself.

Not sure where to go from here...any help would greatly be appreciated!
