Took delivery of this brand new product on Saturday only to find I'm one of many reporting that it has a fundamental problem.
It disconnects from the Sub and both Rear speakers when it's turned off. Power cycling the Sub and the Rears will reconnect them but this is unacceptable in a product costing £1500.
Samsung, please respond and let us know that you're aware of this (unbelievable if you're not) and what action is necessary to make this product function correctly. Either a firmware update or an acknowledgement that we might have a faulty batch and require replacements.
See this link for how widespread this has already become:

Please respond.

Ok will give it another go, thanks for the quick response guys!
Out of curiosity, is there anywhere where it stipulates the the firmware versions each component? And a summary of the firmware?

I don't know if I understood your question correctly, anyway, check this post from @emeric42 from this thread (I didn't find a way to link to a specific post here) to show the fw version of each subcomponent of the soundbar:

Nope.
I'm in the US, running the newest firmware, which does nothing to resolve the issue for me. I'm having the exact same issues as everyone here -- constant disconnects and reconnects of rear speakers, no sound from subwoofer nor surrounds, with random momentary sound from each, and then nothing again.
Samsung supporrt is totally useless, and denies there's any issue.

You don't search...
Turn off soundbar and hold the options button for 5 seconds. You see firmware in display.
You must have:
M 0126.0 > B 1008.0 > H 0051.0 > FD 0040.0 > W 0241.0 > S 0136.0 > RR 0136.0 > RL 0136.0
If you don't have that, you don't Update the Subwoofer and Surround Speakers
See how here (step 2) :

"Updating Subwoofer & speakers" from 1:30 of below clip would be helpful for you.

or from 1:25 of below

I found another reason causing the disconnection of satellite speakers from AVS Forum.
When any of satellite cut out, the blue LED blinks slowly from time to time or the sub makes crackling noise.
Check out the Post #603 from below link.

a Interesting, I have the same issue with the subwoofer intermittently disconnecting (HW-Q80R in UK), or sometimes not connecting at all. I have tried disabling all 2.4GHz and 5GHz devices in the house and it persists. The only fix that works is placing the subwoofer and bar next to each other (millimeters apart).
I believe it is firmware related however I'm unable to update the subwoofer - the bar is version 1008.0 but it also shows S0033.0, which is the one known to have issues,
Following the upgrade guide to the letter doesn't help - inserting a USB with the firmware files in the required folder structure does not trigger an update, nor does pressing the Down button for 6+ seconds.
Any ideas?
