HW-Q80RZA Cable Box Remote Programming

Hello, due to audio sync issues I had to connect soundbar directly to cable box HDMI input. Now it won't turn on with cable box remote as TV does. I tried adding it on cable box remote as an aux device but the remote has no code to operate it.
