Hi @PDW056 , Just checking you have the latest firmware as if not that can create issues. Though last one released appears to be 1013.0 which became available August 2017. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/BD-H8500/ZF/
If you have this or does not resolve issue you could try a reset by pressing the stop button for more than 5 seconds with no disc inside, it will then revert to the factory settings.
