I have a 2012 Samsung BD H8500 PVR which has been perfect since I bought it new and have just noticed that loads of my apps have disappeared, in particular BBC iPlayer, ITV hub and the other UK TV catchup apps. They don't appear on any search lists either. The BBC website includes my device in their list of approved devices, so I'm at a loss as to how I can restore them. Any ideas very welcome

Hi @PDW056 , Just checking you have the latest firmware as if not  that can create issues.   Though last one released appears to be 1013.0 which became available August 2017.  https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/BD-H8500/ZF/

If you have this or does not resolve issue you could try a reset by pressing the stop button for more than 5 seconds with no disc inside,  it will then revert to the factory settings.   You could also reboot your router, see general IPlayer fixes here .https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/troubleshooting/tv-games-consoles/troubleshooting_tv_games
