Keyboard cover s8 not working after upgrade to Pie

After upgrading my Samsung galaxy s8 to Pie my keyboard cover stopped working. When I put it on the screen is slightly misaligned. When clicking the letter buttons most of the buttons do not write, and those which do produce the wring letter. Anyone else with the sam peoblem managed to fix it? Tried to call support but they basically told me they have no idea...

In the German developer menu it is in category "Zeichnung" the field "Mindestbreite" which needs to be set to 411dp

Above fix didn't work on my S8+. What did work for me is to change the screen resolution to FHD+ (2220x1080). Follow this link on how to change screen resolution (note that the article is about changing to QHD+ but just follow the same steps to make it FHD+):

What I found is that, when S8 and S8+ are shipped, their default screen resolution is set to FHD+ (2220x1080) even though the phone is capable of QHD+ (2960x1440). The Pie update changes the default resolution to QHD+. I am guessing that the keyboard cover is compatible only with FHD+. With the FHD+ resolution, we also get increased battery life!
