My new Galaxy Watch 8 is not recording my sleep data correctly via the Samsung Health App. It is completely missing large chunks of overnight data at the start, during and end of my sleep period. All the settings for sleep tracking are setup correctly on my 25 Ultra and Watch. Anyone else having similar issues?

My limit health features was turned on under power saving mode. I think this may have been the reason for the break in data.
Exactly the same here on Watch Ultra 2024. I have tried absolutely everything in the celebrated 'how to make sleep tracking work' article. Even a factory reset has made no difference. I am wondering if it is some obscure bit of code affected by my particular circumstances. I share a bed with my partner and she moves around quite a lot in the night, as do I. I get bad sleep scores (12 is common) even when I have a sleeping pill. My Huawei Band 9 gives far more convincing results, although it agrees that my sleep isn't particularly good.

Since One UI 8.0 my Ultra 2024 no longer record Oxygen during sleep (despite the setting being on and power saving off)...
Even measuring Blood Oxygen manually is broken... on the watch, it goes to 99% and never complete.
After many full watch reset and a few chats with Samsung support, we couldn't fix it... They advise that I send my watch for repair (under warranty). My Ultra has just been picked up. Hopefully they will fix it.

I have the same issue with the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. I'm 67 disabled and mostly housebound. One of my health issues is insomnia. Can't input my sleeping data because the app won't accept people sleeping during the day. The watch doesn't sense when you fall asleep, simple!

SLEEP TRACKING DOES NOT WORK SAMSUNG KNOW THIS AND PUBLISHED A FIX THAT DOES NOT WORK ON THERE OFFICIAL WEBSITE 👎👎👎👎👎👎

I am posting this to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the sleep tracking functionality on my Samsung watch 7 ultra. Despite diligently following all troubleshooting steps published on your official website, the sleep tracking feature consistently fails to operate correctly.

I have attempted every recommended fix, including e.g., recalibrating the device, checking for software updates, clearing app cache, resetting settings, trying different sleeping positions with the device.Unfortunately, none of these measures have resolved the issue. The device frequently fails to record sleep at all, inaccurately records sleep stages, misses wake-up times, shows incorrect sleep duration.

The primary reason I purchased this watch was for its advanced health tracking capabilities, and the sleep tracking feature was a significant factor in my decision. Given that this core functionality is not working as advertised, despite all my efforts to rectify it, I find the watch 7 ultra,to be largely useless for my intended purpose.

Totally agree. I have the same issue with my watch 8. Ive left feedback via the Members app and am going round in circles with expert responses. They are asking me to send error reports which I am unable to send via the app. Different people reply to me and not one person has taken single ownership of my problem with the inaccurate sleep tracking.
