I have QN95BA

since morning the brightness of the tv is set to maximum. Even after decreasing to 0 there is no effect on brightness

i have reset all the settings but still not fixed.

@samsung why are you sending bugs. Last time qsymphony was removed from quick access tab

very poor experience

@Adityasemwal: Please try heading to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Brightness Optimisation, and toggle this option off if it is active. This changes the brightness of the TV based on the viewing environment, therefore if you are in a well lit room, or the TV is in direct sunlight, then this might explain why you are unable to reduce the brightness manually via Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

While you're here, check the 'Minimum Brightness' settings to make sure that this isn't set too high. I also recommend heading to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent mode > Off. Alternatively, disable 'Adaptive Picture', then try manually adjusting the brightness to your preference via Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

Thanks for writing but none of this worked

Samsung is not taking this seriously. I am unable to use TV since 2 weeks now due to this

Same thing with QN85b

Local dimming doesn't work after the 1651 update, the backlight is bleeding, brightness is always at max and video content now has some weird pixelization effect, it looks like the upscaler is broken as well

Samsung doesn't even try to deal with a long-standing problem and offers to fix an expensive TV at my expense

And of course, technical support doesn't even tell me the approximate date of the next firmware release because it's "confidential data"
