Smart view from S22 not working over LAN. Apple Airplay is!

I have a 2023 QE65Q80C. Using a S22 phone. M1 MacBook Pro.

Smart view works fine over WiFi. I'd like the TV to be using LAN though. When I switch to wired, I lose the Smart view connection. Interestingly, Airplay still mirrors fine.

Seems strange that Apple - Samsung would work where Samsung- Samsung does not!

Is this an issue with the S22 not being able to "see" the TV if on the LAN whereas the MacBook can?
