HDR mode greyed out in game mode S90c

I have been using the S90c TV for a couple of weeks now and it's been working fine but all of a sudden HDR won't work on my Xbox. It was working before but now if I go into the settings then option for HDR is greyed out and won't let me enable it. It is working correctly in other applications (native netflix, amazon prime etc) just not on the xbox. All the settings are set on the Xbox correctly, and I've done a full power reset on both the TV and the Xbox. Can anyone help?

I figured out what the problem was. I had night mode enabled on the Xbox which apparently disables HDR. 🤦‍♀️

Just came back to post the solution in case anyone else has the same issue in the future.
