Night scenes are too dark to watch

I am using Samsung Q70 2024 model.
Feels very disappointing when I can hardly see the night scenes on movie since it’s very dark and darker.

The backlight is full, eco mode off, picture settings standard/dynamic but no improvements.

did I miss something to set right?

Nope, it's a edge lit LED, it is a downside of the tech, was your previous TV back lit?

I am unsure about previous model technology but that was https://www.lg.com/hk_en/tv-soundbars/4k-uhd-tvs/49uj6300/

new tv is 6 years newer and 2.5 times more expensive than my previous one but the only difference in picture is bit better color nothing else. Seems worthless, planning to return the tv

Ah okay, i mean obviously it varies between, regions but try and source a 2023 Q80C or better such as a Neo. In the UK the Neo is more a less same price a new 2024 Q70D
