Problem with the remote

I have an issue with the Samsung remote

The remote keeps flickering in red and sometimes its struggled to switch on but works fine after but today morning it switched on and didnt work

Please help me out here

Hi @Irene_41 A blinking red light tends to indicate low Batteries or unpairing from the Remote. If not the batteries try pressing the Return and play/Pause Buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to reset and display pairing window, also check there is no obstruction.

I have a CU7000B tv. Remote has no microphone. I use Optimum cable TV which has a remote with microphone. Can I buy a Samsung remote with a remote to use with my cable connection so I don't have to use two remotes if yes what do I buy?
