      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have recently purchased a&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;QE32Q50A TV, sometimes after turning the TV on from standby there is no TV sound BUT menu sounds work okay. If we turn the TV off either with the button underneath or at the wall socket then it starts to work. But frequently fails again after the TV has been in standby.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone else suffered similar issues?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/24108291"&gt;@Ska Dog Chris&lt;/a&gt; check you have the latest software which is 1805.4&amp;nbsp; which was released in September.&amp;nbsp; However as the Tv was purchased recently I suspect this is the case. if not it can be updated via USB as shown here&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/QE32Q50AAUXXU/" target="_self"&gt;https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/QE32Q50AAUXXU/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Otherwise&amp;nbsp; you could try the following:&amp;nbsp; Go to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;Settings &amp;gt; Support &amp;gt; Self Diagnosis, select Sound Test. Depending on the result you may need to&amp;nbsp; reset the sound via settings-Sound-Expert Settings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However if this does not provide a solution I would advise a factory Reset to see if that makes a difference.&amp;nbsp; Settings-Support-self Diagnosis-Reset.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

It passes the sound test when the issue occurs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve also got the same problem. Got the tv a few weeks ago, exchanged it for a new one, same model but still have the same issue. Seems to fix when I turn it off and on again but still not ideal, especially for the cost of the tv. Sound test returns no issues. Would be great if there was a solution.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Now can't as it's on the wifes radar. Happened again this morning and will be returning TV - currently have the most up to date operating system and followed all the self diagnosis tests as recommended by Samsung&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We ran all the diagnostics and updates, including a factory reset and eventually the issue went away. Couldn't say what fixed it and the retailer wanted to send the TV back to Samsung which was going to be a load of hassle so we lived with it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cheers Chris. This is our second TV (same model) which has the same problem. Have learned to live with it by turning the TV off at the wall and back on again. Madness that Samsung don’t care, don’t have a fix, don’t take action.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;it’s a shame because the TV apart from that, is excellent&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i suppose that is there something wrong with the software or some "parameters" that keeps in memory until we do not unplug the cable ... i don't think this is a general failure but only when someone configure and use a specific feature of the tv. for now after reset i've connected the samsung account, internet and alexa. no more stuffs or other apps. I was often using to see the desktop of my pc for videos or movies ... i will try to do not use this feature and see what happens. could be instresting if all of us can share what application and features are using. after the reset i didn't change any parameter from the configuration for auido or video quality !!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Mine does the same as wall mounted it's power comes from behind so hard to turn mains off.I found if no sound put on standby then press and hold on button on remote while booting up and the sound is back</description>

(while booting) or you just press once ON and keep it pressed? thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i suppose that is something connected with Alexa, for now i've made a factory reset and not connected Alexa, and from some weeks i do not have issues i don't know if is just a coincidence&lt;/P&gt;</description>
