Samsung Q60C Smart TV Delete Items From Continue Watching List

Hi Samsung,

Could a feature be added to remove items from the Continue Watching List. Currently I have four items in it which the ITVX Appp is not removing. I have tried everything to remove them fast forwarding and also deleting and reinstalling the app.

I strongly feel instead of relying on a third party app such as ITVX to remove the items Samsung should have a backup feature to remove items. This in my opinion is a a major omission in the Televisions software by Samsung.

I searched all over for how to change this and found that on my Samsung TV - scrolling to the very bottom of the Home Screen content - takes a while - you have media options and you can remove apps from linking to the continue watching feature - it was super frustrating as it just showed one app of content - anyhow - got rid of it - happy days!

Thanks for the tip. I did manage to get rid of the Continue Watching in the end by a lot of fiddling with the ITVX application. But thanks to your tip I can remove it from the Continue Watching list. Happy Days !

On the Samsung “Home Screen” (when you press the house symbol button on your remote), keep pressing the down arrow on your remote till you get to the very bottom of the home screen and you will see a small heading “media options” move right and select “continue watching”, from there take out the ticks of the apps you don’t want to see this feature displayed. Good Luck, it really is quite easy!

I did this and then a few days later the continue watching comes back. Is there any way to permanently remove something from continue watching? I have deleted the same items multiple times.

You are a wonderful human being for posting the instructions for clearing the continue playing feature. The ITVX app's determination to invite me to continue watching the same watched programmes by using this feature was driving me to distraction. Thank you for saving my sanity.
