      <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;Subtitles have popped up on the channel 4 app (formerly All 4).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Strangely,&amp;nbsp;it's only this channel that they're appearing on.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I've checked in settings and subtitles are off.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Can anybody help me in getting rid of them please?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Debbie&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi James, thanks for coming back to me. Sorry, but how would I check for the latest update on the tv? Tried turning subtitles on and off but didn't clear it. How do I reset the Smart Hub? Thanks</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;oh right, I was specifically&amp;nbsp; talking about the app and can check here&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/how-do-i-manage-apps-on-my-smart-tv/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/how-do-i-manage-apps-on-my-smart-tv/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Firmware can be checked&amp;nbsp; Settings-Support-Software update, will give you the version and can check if update available over internet.&amp;nbsp; However sometimes firstly available via USB download which can be checked via Samsung support.&amp;nbsp; I cannot check latest version without the model number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyway to reset the Smart Hub follow these steps, varies slightly depending on how modern your Tv is. For more recent models it is Settings-Support-Device care-Self Diagnosis-Reset Smart Hub.&amp;nbsp; Some earlier models do not have the Device care step.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/reset-smart-hub-samsung-tv/" target="_self"&gt;https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/reset-smart-hub-samsung-tv/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks again, James. I've checked the software version, and that's up to date. I got into the smart hub reset but noticed it wipes all the apps clear and don't want to chance that and mess other things up. I've even tried signing out of Channel 4 and signing back in, but the subtitles are still there. Looks like I'm stuck with them. It's so annoying and weird it's only this one channel/ app. Thanks again for your help</description>
