topic Tab A7 moving files to sd card in Tablets

I have a Tab A7 500T. Internal memory is nearly full. SD card inserted and formatted. Going around in circles trying to find how to move files to sd card. Ideally I would like to move images file to SD card. Is it possible to move apps to SD card?

@landie57: In order to move media files to your SD card, please swipe up from the Home Screen > Samsung (folder) > My files > Images > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Edit > Select the images you'd like to move, or select 'All' in the top left > Move > Tap the back button > SD Card > Select a folder, or create a new one > Move Here. Most applications are restricted to internal storage only, so I recommend utilising your SD card for your personal media files, and leaving your internal storage free to house your apps and app data. I hope this helps.

To further expand on the above, there's a Knox policy preventing apps being moved to SD card even if the option is enabled via developer settings to force this feature ON. I have found some apps will store their data on SD though like All4 which can use it for downloaded programs and films.
