Galaxy Tab Blurry Wallpapers

Any image I set as a wallpaper comes out blurry on both landscape and portrait orientation, the images I use are of high resolution yet this still occurs. Any fix?

Galaxy Tab S4 running latest Android 10 software.

hello

if on Dark Mode

head to Settings → Wallpapers → Apply dark mode to wallpaper → turn off

Thanks for the reply, I tried that and unfortunately it did not make a difference, background is still blurry. 😞

No, stock wallpapers appear fine, only photos from the gallery end up like this.

Probably not optimised for the tablet , search for 4k tablet wallpapers on Google or use the galaxy store

OK so this helps somewhat, some wallpapers just look more clear than others even though they're the same resolution. Also the orientation in which the image is applied as the wallpaper seems to make a difference, whenever I apply a wallpaper in landscape all is fine but doing so in portrait and then using the tablet in landscape seems to distort the image. Weird but applying in landscape seems to do the trick!
