I'm currently going over my edited PDFs in Samsung Notes and all of the Notes I scribbled on there are gone including all of my PDFs. And that's 2h before my exam. What the heck happened? My entire uni life was in Samsung Notes and now it doesn't accept PDFs anymore. Not only can't I import but I also can't read my PDFs

Hi,
Do you use samsung cloud
You may able to find them there

On samsung notes
Click on three horizontal bars

Then the cog wheel
And make sure the slider
Is on to sync with
Samsung cloud

I did find this that may help too

Step 1
Open the Settings app. Scroll down and choose Accounts and Backup.

Step 2
Tap Restore data under Samsung account.

Step 3
Choose Documents to see all your backed up Samsung notes.

@NinaSophie: If you open the Samsung Notes app, and tap the PDF+ button in the top right, you can import any PDF documents from your Internal Storage, Cloud Drive, OneDrive and Google Drive.

Alternatively, tap the lines in the top left of the Samsung Notes landing page > All Notes (tap to select) > Tap the cog symbol in the top right > Import Data From > S Notes > Choose the relevant location. I hope this helps.
