Hi , notes app updated and you're supposed to be able to write in text boxes and it's converts to text , only I can't enable thus feature as its not in s pen settings in advanced features ?

@Easty: If you open the Notes app > Open a note, or create a new one via the '+' symbol > Tap the scribbled line in the top left > Write something using the S Pen > Tap the writing with your finger (to select all writing, tap the scribbled line with the letter 'T' at the bottom of the screen. Options should appear in a preview window, and you can replace the handwriting with text by pressing 'Convert'. Let me know how you get on.

That's not what the new update is , that's alredy present ?
When you hand write a note now there's a pen with a t next to it , press this and handwriting is automatically changed to text .
What's missing is being able to use your pen to write in text boxes that can only usually be typed , I.e search bar on Internet.

Samsung show it off in a video along with new scan feature .
There is supposed to be a setting in advanced features s pen , but it's not there ? Have they pulled it ?

Touch the T with the Pen next to it, you can then write with the pen and it Converts it straight to text.
I wrote this with my s Pen ! <

That has been a feature of the Samsung keyboard for ages now, this new feature is different - you don't need the keyboard to be present, I've only used it in samsung notes so far, a little floating menu will appear

It seems its only available in samsung notes at the moment, likely to be included in an update to allow it to activated in settings and be used in other apps too! I prefer it to using the handwriting feature on the Samsung keyboard 👍
