Hi does anyone know if you can connect an external hard drive to Galaxy Tablet A SM t510

yes you can.
Just need a same pin wire both side.

hi thanks for getting back to me, I had read about an otg cable but wasn't sure if my tablet was compatible with it as my external hard drive has a USB cable and the only place on my tablet is the charging area.

In that case u can use ur mobile charger wire, now a days it comes separate like adopter and wire, so pin can go to Tablet and USB can go to hard drive.
Hope it could make ur life easy.

Thanks both the tablet and hard drive have male ends so would need some sort of an adaptor and idea's what one
