Galaxy tab 7 won't charge

I also tried a factory roboot but no good. A message appeared briefly in red font. Something about volts needing to more than 3.4.

How do I resolve this?

I have tried different cables and plugs, but it makes no difference. Once it looked like it was charging but didn't. It won't turn on when plugged in either. 😣

In that case it may be a problem with the charge regulator which is a hardware issue. That would require a repair.

This is now resolved. While plugged in I held down the power key for 20 seconds then the volume up and middle button for 20 seconds all 3 together. It flashed a samsung sign tho nothing else happened at the time but it did charge up overnight. My data was still all in tact and I'm just installing the latest updates 😃
