Samsung Tab S4 - Using one SD Card in the slot & another via USB-C connection simultaneously?

If I have the Micro SD card fitted then attach an SD Card from my camera via the Type C connection, the tablet will not recognize it.

It will if I remove the Micro SD Card though.

Any ideas why?

Hi @colhot!

I've edited the thread title for you to make it a bit easier for folks out there to find.

I've also asked our software team about it. But I'm suspecting that the tablet is reading the USB connected card as 'SD Card storage' too, that it can only handle one, and is prioritising the slot. What does the tablet display when it's just the USB connected one? 'USB storage' or 'SD Card' storage?

I have the same issue with my Note 9 and Note 10+, when I have the usb only it says 'usb storage 1'
