Hey! Sup?! So how come you can't put a sim in the micro sd card slot. - may sound dum as such - but i really want lte in my device yet am wondering if I can put my phone's sim card in the micro sd card slot and if it will work - since i didn't buy the lte version of my Tab S7 (Which I highly regret).

the connection and parts in that SD card slot are designed to store data.

a sim card slot and memory card slot need different components and connections. a technician can let you know how it works but if you try to force a sim card in there you risk damaging your device and voiding warranty.

now you know this you know to buy a cellular model next time, if you really want data on the move then WIFI Hotspot from your phone (drains your phone battery quicker) or get a mobile WiFi device (MIFI) then put a data sim in that and you got data on the move.
