Password change on Samsung tablet

Hi, so my son was able to change the password on my Samsung tablet but has forgotten it. I'm now locked out and don't know how to unlock it. Any ideas anyone? I'm useless with technology. Thank you.

if you cannot recall the password, you'll have to do a full factory reset. You WILL however lose any stored data on the device.

Try the Samsung Find My Phone from a different device, if the tablet is registered under your Samsung account you will be able to unlock it easily without losing anything stored, just a simple unlock.
