Have you thought about a timer switch? You could allow the tablet to "discharge" from 10am to 10pm then turn on power for 2 or 3hrs. Obviously mess about with the times. Constant charging is going to decrease the life of any battery as is charging above 85%.

I use Accubattery in my Galaxy A51 5G to alert at 85% then I unplug.

Hi, I bought this Galaxy Tab A, 10" tablet. It will be attached to the wall in my bedroom and used as videophone for my frontdoor, as control panel of my home domotics system, and another few small applications. In other words, it will not be used very often. Yet, as it is fixed to the wall, it will be permanently plugged into the charger. Is this a problem? Most people are looking for a fast charger, I'm looking for a slow charger - a trickle charger of some kind. Or would a diode in series with the charger be an idea.... Don't know. Any suggestions?

Jo
