Brightness during streaming.

I have a s9fe tablet.

Sometimes, while watching films, the picture is so dark that it's virtually impossible to see what's happening. I have turned the brightness up to maximum in the device settings , but the problem still persists.

Can I enhance the brightness further?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi and Welcome.

In my S25 ultra under settings > search for video brightness and go for the bright options if its available

Do you have adaptive brightness turned on?

If yes, toggle it off and see if that fixes your issues.

Unfortunately, the problem is with my s9fe tablet and not with my s25 phone.

Most Samsung devices have similar settings so if you have the option is good.

My device is an s9fe tablet. Adaptive brightness is toggled off.

As I said, adaptive brightness is toggled off with no improvement.

The one I mentioned should be under Settings > advanced features > video brightness.
Its separate from adaptive brightness

I checked, and the video toggles are all on bright.

@Psostoad: Is the issue persistent across all streaming apps and content? If you view the affected videos on another compatible device, is it significantly brighter?

My mind is drawn to that infamous episode of Game of Thrones which somehow made headlines for being overly dark, so this is worth considering.

I have tried viewing the program on my s9fe tablet and my s25 ultra phone.

The picture is dark on both devices.

Hdr can be a pain for dropping the brightness try watching something in normal hd and see if there is any change in brightness level
