Cannot get "save as sticker" to come up on my tablet

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 Lite and I absolutely cannot get the option "save as sticker" to come up when I long press a photo in gallery. In fact, when I long press, nothing happens. All I get is a spinning circle for half a second and nothing. I am accessing the photos through the google gallery app, not samsung.

I have rebooted, cleared cache, reinstalled the app, factory reset my tablet, everything the internet has told me to do and it still won't work. Does anyone have any idea why it's not working and how to fix it?

It works just fine on my Galaxy S21, so I am puzzled.

Have you tried it on galaxy gallery does it works there?

Hello,

Yes, I have tried on Samsung gallery that's built into the phone and Google Photos. Nothing for either.

I did check the versions on the tablet and phone and they are different. Could that be the problem?

Phone (galaxy S21) version15.6.01.19

Tablet (galaxy tab 6 lite) Version 15.5.05.3

I even uninstalled the most recent update and nothing.

I have version 15 700 43 ,a55 and works, that's weird I've just looked on both Samsung store and Google play and gallery is not there to download

Hi @heyrebecca, and welcome to the Samsung UK & Ireland Community. Please could you go to Settings > About tablet > Software information, and let us know what versions of One UI and Android you have installed on your Tab S6 Lite?

If possible, are you also able to take a screenshot that shows the section named "Service provider software version"?

If you're on the web version, you can upload a photo by clicking on the camera icon, then "Choose files", and select your photo.

If you're on the Members app, click the + icon, select Gallery, and then choose your photo.
