Managed to find a cheap samsung galaxy tablet at argos the only issues is I don't think it has different colours and my 2 favourite colours are pink and lilic.

You can purchase a case. There is no obligation to select a particular brand if an alternative option better suits your needs.

Might be worth noting the A9 will only be updated to Android 16 and security patches will stop in October 2027.

And it's quite weak... what it does best is social media and emails... probably some office tasks... nothing too fancy...

You can also check refurbished ones, as this wont be the powerhouse, it will be bit slow to run some basic tasks. As others mentioned might look at other options.
