      <title>Tab S6 Spen issues</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is anyone else having issues with the tab&amp;nbsp; S6 Spen where it draws without the nib actually touching the screen? It's making it pretty unusable and the main reason for purchasing this tablet was for the Spen and ability to fill out and sign documents without the need of printing. I've tried changing the nib in the pen and nothing fixes it the closest fix I've found is pressing on the nib really hard but that only fixes it for a minute at most.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But it's also temperamental so since your reply, I've had a 50/50 mix of it working for a period and then being unusable at the same time. Little bit stumped the best fix I've been able to find is like I said pressing hard on the nib what cures it for a brief period.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Unfortunately I live in a small country and not in the EU, Spens aren't available here so I couldn't buy a new one.&lt;BR /&gt;What I had to do is stop charging the Spen, just make it useful to take notes.&lt;BR /&gt;It still has issues but it will stop scrolling the screen on it's own and you will be able to use the pen normally again; Air commands won't work though.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was having the same problem and tried something a bit different. I had heard that pulling the tip out and resetting it seemed to work, however, the problem came back. So - don't laugh - I decided to try to take a small amount off the nib shaft. Using sissors, I cut about a 1/64 of an inch (‪0.396875‬ mm) from the shaft and reinserted the nib. I did a pen recal and now it seems to be working great! I know it sounds crazy, but it worked!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;h&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have bought the Samsung S6 the last month, and I have the same issues regarding the S pen.&lt;BR /&gt;Regardless of the app, the pen scrolls up and down only by close enough movements (without touching the screen). On note-taking apps, the S pen writes on the document without touching the screen (which I don't want to).&lt;BR /&gt;I have reset the S pen 4 times now and the problem persists. I have changed the tip of the S Pen, but the problem persists. I've also tried each of the help pages from Samsung members, but I don't manage to finish the test, because of the S pen scrolling up and down.&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know what are the next steps because I can not believe how your product can be so expensive and not work properly only a month after I bought it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Scott,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know if it will work with you, but after seeing a great amount of replies around the topic, I found one solution that apparently worked:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. I changed the tip of the S Pen. It seem the older one was the one causing the problem, which doesn't make sense, specially considering that I also tried the second point below, with this older tip.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. I inserted the new tip softly enough. It seem that the mechanism functions with the pressure of the tip.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For now, it's working good. I'm still gonna to go the a support center in Brussels next week to make sure there is no problem with the S Pen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Only had tab for a few weeks. 2 long and frustrating calls with support performing resets over and over. Samsung support are now asking me to drive 2.5 hours to my nearest support centre to look at it! So I decided to cut one down to see if it was the length of the stem, it worked. No more phantom stylest hovering&amp;nbsp; and I'm actually able to select things&amp;nbsp; on screen. The bad thing it may be to short to work for some things but I am still working on it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was having the same problem with the phantom scrolling when near (but not touching) the screen, as well as unable to select anything with an actual tap. I changed the nib and the problem is completely fixed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I think it's clear that it's not a software issue, but a hardware issue with that particular nib.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I bought a Tab S6 2 weeks ago and the S Pen work perfectly the last 10 days but since this morning it works strange.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The action button works fine (when I double click the tab is unlocked) but when I try to use the pen to "click" on an icon or anything else it does not detect anything. After several seconds it starts to work but not all the time. The same thing appends when I try to use it in OneNote or in any other note app after unlocking the tablet. It's like the pen was in standby mode and needed a few moments to get ready.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sometimes it doesn't even detect that the pen si attached in the grove on the back of the device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm really annoyed because everything was fine till today and I love to write with it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here are all the action I did to try to make it work better:&lt;BR /&gt;1. Reseting the pen&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2.Changing the nib&lt;BR /&gt;3.Activate / desactivate air actions&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4.Reboot the tablet&lt;/P&gt;</description>
