Like I've said prior, design changes will affect accessories, regardless of promises made by Samsung. So unless I'm expecting an identical shaped product in an upgrade, I go by the assumption it'll be different. Much like phones tbh, cases typically don't fit well from each year, so it's usually a wise idea to assume next year's revival won't work or fit etc.

Hello guys, are you OK? Me, I'm OK.

Today I understood why Samsung hasn't released a book cover keyboard with the Galaxy Tab S11 series. I bought the Tab S11 Ultra in France for myself, and the cover keyboard slim is present when you buy the tablet. I want the model with a trackpad because for the Tab S10, S9, and S8 series, those tablets have a book cover keyboard. After looking at and using my tablet, I looked for one choice: the place for the connection for the cover. Before, the connector for the keyboard was under the tablet, which is much simpler for connecting the tablet to the keyboard. But this year, the connection is on the back of the tablet. I didn't notice this change when I looked at my tablet the first time, but after three weeks with it, I noticed when I wanted to change the keyboard, and I don't understand why Samsung didn't release the next model for the keyboard.

<video-js data-video-id="6380221241112" data-account="6136710676001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

In the video, look at the difference. Last year, the connector was under the tablet and not on the back.

This is a known feature of the Tab S11 Ultra, so what is it you're trying to highlight here? Typically the older accessories do not work quite as effectively for the newer models either and didn't even fit. For example the Tab S8 Ultra keyboard cover didn't fit the Tab S9 Ultra. It isn't ideal, but Samsung tend to keep these accessories for individual designs and as the Tab S11 Ultra is the most radical change compared to the previous Tab Ultras (thinnest, lightest and smallest dimensions) it's quite understandable why accessories are different. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't be upset over it, but there's reason for these changes due to its design, so having the pins at the back is simply their new design method.

For a while, I was tempted to buy the book cover of the Tab S10 because I know that when the Tab S10 came out, Samsung directly said that those who wanted to buy the Tab S10 and had first bought the cover of the Tab S9, no problem, since both models, from a physical point of view, are limited to twins. I wanted to do the same, but in the end I abstained because I thought I had to look at my tablet carefully and there were subtle differences that meant that, unlike last year, Samsung didn't say again that the covers of Tab S9 and Tab S10 work perfectly on the Tab S11. I finally did well.

I bought the original Tab S8 Ultra and from that point on, each year I watched how subtle differences rendered the use of the accessories obsolete on the later models. So I figured it's not a huge loss as the keyboard cover from Samsung was a gift for free when purchasing the tablet. Like now, my Tab S11 Ultra will soon receive the free keyboard cover I bought when I purchased it. It's kind of a given in the UK that Samsung do this offer each year with these tablets, so I always ensure to purchase them with that in mind.

Me too, it's just that last year this was automatically said by Samsung themselves during the Unpacked and also proven through tests done by specialized channels and even the general public, but it's true that now we have to be careful and check. We're going to say that last year Samsung was very generous to have made sure that in terms of design and technology, the accessories of the Tab S9 work perfectly with the Tab S10 and that the only difference is the arrival of the AI key, but hey, we couldn't ask Samsung to do it all the time. At least they've been generous for a year, but we're getting used to it quickly. 😂
