Tab S6 usb c headphone issue

I've just picked up a lovely new tab S6 love it so far but I'm having an issue with the lack of headphone jack. I've tried a few usb c headphone adapters including the one supplied with my dads tab S5e but I'm having no luck. When I connect headphones i just get a usb device not supported message.

Does anyone know of any fixes

I got the answer. S6 likes note10 only support digital audio out, so you need a DAC build-in USB C to 3.5mm dongle output. The dongle in s5e box don't have DAC chip build-in. I found the dongle which in my PIXEL2 BOX. It works. DAC USBC adapter is a little bit expensive. I hope this will help you.:^)

Thank you for your answer looks like I will have to buy a dongle. At least I've got my galaxy buds that work really well with the tab

I think this one could work. Ofcuz, you can search "usbc 3.5mm adapter dac" as keyword in some online store where you can buy from.

I'm using samsung original and no problems...why people want to inevnt a bicycle if it already exists...buy from samsung store or amazon and thats it. 15euros is not much

I can see that this link is from our colleagues in the US and they are not shipping outside the US. However, you should be able to order this from our Samsung Store in your country, for example in the UK by following this link.

This is the kind of stunt I would expect Apple to pull.

Shame on Samsung for removing the DAC from their phones.

I will look elsewhere for my next phone upgrade.

lol, 15$ for an usb-c to 3,5mm jack adapter? there is defnitenly something wrong with original samsung accessoirs, just too overpriced for every tiny stuff they sell.
