Use phone as toolbar doesn't work?

Hi,
I have a Tab S6 Lite and a Z Fold5 and recently found out about the "Use phone as toolbar" feature in Samsung Notes. I paired my phone and tablet. I went ahead and turned off Dark Mode, and checked in the settings menu of Samsung Notes, and yes, the feature is there and it is active. However, when I open my notes, I do not see the icon that allows me to actually use this feature. My sister has a Z Flip6 and a Tab S8 and for her it works fine.
I doubt the S6 Lite is incompatible with this feature? After all, why would the option be present and active on the settings menu if it weren't?
Any help would be appreciated.

Open notes on the tablet and press the use phone as toolbar icon (1st screenshot). The toolbar will appear automatically on your phone (2nd screenshot).

Ensure both devices are on same network and latest versions of Samsung Notes are installed on both devices. Toggle on 'Continue apps on other devices' on both devices.(Settings>Connected devices). Ensure both devices are using Light Mode.

If you can't see the use phone as toolbar icon, then It is possible your devices aren't compatible.

I actually just found the solution from this video.
you have to activate "Continue apps on other devices" for both devices, and have both devices be on Light Mode.
I saw a lot of people struggling with this issue so hope they find this thread.

Is this feature possible with a S22 and a S9?

And why does this feature don't support dark mode?

Or how can I set that only that app is in light mode and the rest off my apps are still in dark mode

Thanks to your comment, I just realized that feature is only available in the tablet's light mode. I'd been spending so much time syncing my accounts and toggling functions on and off, and it turns out it was something as simple as deactivating dark mode, LOL. Thanks, it works now!
